JobApp regularly organizes employee service events that give employees the opportunity to serve the community together.
Gleaners Community Food Bank
At the Gleaners Community Food Bank in Detroit, JobApp employees help organize the shipping of more than 12 tons of food for delivery to the hungry, one day each year. Founded in 1977 by Gene Gonya, Gleaners Community Food Bank has become one of the nation’s largest food banks, providing food for over 65,000 meals a day.
Orchards Children’s Services
For Orchards Children’s Services, a national organization that provides a wide range of services for children and families, JobApp employees host a November food drive and a December toy and clothing drive. The efforts support families throughout southeast Michigan.
