The Story of JobApp

JobApp’s technological expertise and commitment to creating extremely user-friendly and value-based hiring and HR solutions are rooted in its very beginnings.

JobApp as it is known today began in 2007 out of a company called InterActive Voice Data Fax Inc. (IVDF) — the innovator in Web- and database-linked solutions for high-volume hiring using interactive voice response (IVR) and fax-on-demand. JobApp Network, founded in 1997, was IVDF’s flagship brand.

  • JobApp’s parent company developed and retained the rights to nearly a dozen industry-exclusive features, all designed to enhance hourly and high-volume recruiting and onboarding.
  • The JobApp Dispenser®, a patent-pending business process, was among these trend-setting, revolutionary innovations.
  • IVDF’s client list included such marquee names as the U.S. Navy, J.C. Penney, PowerOne/Center for American Jobs, Census 2000 and Owens Corning.

In 2007, Vineyard Capital Group acquired JobApp and propelled the company into its next growth trajectory. The new leadership moved with commitment and speed to advance the company’s rich history of developing customer-centric technology for the decentralized workforce in areas including:

  • Hourly and salaried onboarding and new-employee orientation
  • Spanish-language Web and phone application portals
  • Rapid integration tools for HRIS systems
  • HR-XML integration for background checks

More recently, JobApp has brought efficient and effective assessments to the aid of those hiring for a decentralized workforce.

JobApp continues to dedicate itself to continually leveraging technology to make it easier to find, hire and manage the right candidate for the right job … right now.
